Aztec Nails & New Nail Art Business: Your Views?

So I got bored Friday night and decided to give my nails a much needed paint. They looked rather boring all one colour, so decided to do a simple aztec design on my ring finger.

The next day I decided to do the design on all of my nails because I thought the accent nail looked slightly lonely!

The sunshine is reflecting on my nails in the above photos, but below is a photo of my nails with the flash on indoors.

I would also be grateful of your views on the following subject:

Basically I am taking a gap year from university and thinking of starting my own small scale, mobile, nail art business. My dad owns a tanning salon, so I was thinking I could work maybe weekends doing nail designs in there. I am currently a marketing student so I could do all the marketing related malarki for it, which I could then put on my CV.

However...

My biggest issue is that a) I'm not sure if I am good enough at nail art to make a business out of it, and b) would people actually be prepared to pay for my services? So as you all are my trustworthy fellow bloggers I was wondering what your views are on this? and please don't be afraid to be 100% honest! As they say, honesty is the best policy :)

Hope you guys are well!

Fruit Salad Mess

Exams, assignments, exams, assignments, more exams, more assignments. Probably sounds quite familiar to a lot of you, as it is the time of year us students hate when literally this is all we are doing. As a result, sadly I've  been neglecting my nails lately, not to mention my blog has also been hit hard.

Here are some pictures of the fruit-salad like nail design I was sporting about 2 weeks ago:

As you probably noticed I messed up the ring finger, but didn't bother re-doing the design. I was undecided about whether I actually like this design or not? so I decided to add a few more lines to jazz it up...

And well I  messed it up even more, so as you can see I started painting my nails glittery pink instead. Currently, I am rocking some good old classic pink glittery nails which kind of remind me of Barbie. The pink polish used is called Fuchsia by Beautyuk. The glitter on top is not a nail polish I purchased, and instead is just some loose glitter mixed with some clear polish I had kicking about. I didn't manage to take a picture of my full set of glittery nails, but they looked pretty darn pretty! I really need to re-paint my nails as they are really chipped at the moment #Lazy.

Anyhow, although I'm not too keen on the fruit-salad nails I thought I'd do a post so I could hear your views on them. So what do you guys think? Yay or Nay?

Hope you guys have a nice weekend.
